Technische Daten des Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C550
Der Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C550 ist ein A4-Farb-Multifunktions-Tintenstrahldrucker, der speziell für den Büroalltag entwickelt wurde. Der Druck erfolgt mit einem PrecisionCore Heat-Free-Druckwerk anstelle eines Lasers. Vier DURABrite Pro Pigmenttintenpatronen – Schwarz, Cyan, Magenta und Gelb – versorgen das Gerät mit Tinte. Scannen, Kopieren und Faxen sind ebenfalls möglich, sodass alle Büroarbeiten mit nur einem Gerät erledigt werden können. Optional erhältliche Standfüße ermöglichen die flexible Positionierung des Druckers, wenn mehr Papier benötigt wird.
Für detailreiche Ausdrucke erreicht der AM-C550 auf geeignetem Büropapier eine Auflösung von bis zu 4800 x 1200 dpi. Epson gibt die Druckgeschwindigkeit sowohl in Schwarzweiß als auch in Farbe mit bis zu 55 Seiten pro Minute an, wobei der Duplexdruck ebenfalls 55 Bilder pro Minute erreicht. Diese Geschwindigkeit ist besonders wichtig für Berichte, Formulare und gemeinsam genutzte Dokumente in Arbeitsgruppen. Eine vordere Papierkassette fasst Standardpapier, während das Mehrzweckfach kleinere oder seltener benötigte Medien aufnimmt. Mit optionalen unteren Kassetten erhöht sich die Gesamtkapazität auf fünf Papierquellen und 2,100 Blatt.
Ein Computer in der Nähe kann über Hi-Speed USB verbunden werden, während Büronetzwerke Ethernet oder WLAN nutzen können. Wi-Fi Direct ermöglicht eine direkte drahtlose Verbindung, wenn kein Router benötigt wird. Das Hauptgerät misst 465 x 517 x 570 mm, bevor optionales Papierzubehör die Stellfläche verändert. Epson empfiehlt ein monatliches Druckvolumen von 4,500 bis 30,000 Seiten. Da das Gerät Papier bis zum Format Legal verarbeiten kann, ersetzt es keinen A3- oder 11×17-Drucker.
