Epson Stylus TX119 is a budget and convenient printer for those who need to print occasionally. The printer is relatively simple and serves as all-in-one equipment, which means it is suitable for printing, scanning, and copying. First of all, its undoubted advantage is that, unlike many other printers, the device is simple to install. It will start working even if the user needs more experience with this technological equipment. I enjoyed the clarity and convenience of the TX119 interface. Many printers have confusing and uncomfortable commands when performing one or another operation – that’s not the case for this model, although the budget is charming to use.
Since the printer was not expensive, its print quality was surprisingly good. Of course, it still cannot be compared with more expensive professional equipment, but the printed documents look very decent, and it is enjoyable that they do not get smudged. The TX119 is ideal for printing work papers at home or in a small office because this material needs to meet the requirements for high print quality in professional organizations. While the Stylus TX119 is not fast, it is also not the slowest laser printer I’ve seen, which means it works quickly enough to perform small tasks at home or in the office. However, one cannot fail to mention an essential disadvantage of many inkjet printers – the cost of cartridges or their replacement. Although the printer does not cost much money, its cartridges are impressively expensive. Unfortunately, the situation with most inkjet printers is precisely this: the technology is affordable, but the ink is costly. If you print as often as I do, this may indeed be a significant drawback when choosing a printer. Thus, Epson Stylus TX119 is a relatively budget and well-balanced printer, but one should be prepared for the significant long-term costs of replacing cartridges.
